If you are looking for spectacular views over Aprica’s ski slopes (and the Magnolta run in particular), the partially wooded Aprica-Piscè trail is the place to be.
Park at Aprica’s Infopoint and walk through the Dosso neighbourhood, which is known for its murals. You’ll soon reach a small chapel. Just a few steps on from here, the trail kicks off on your right. It’s a mellow, consistent climb to begin with, taking you to a junction: stick right here and you’ll reach Piscè. Once you get there, you can join the Pian di Gembro snowshoe route by following the road downhill for a short stretch. On your left you’ll spot a wooden board that marks the entrance to the trail.
Appropriate hiking equipment for snowy conditions is recommended for the Aprica-Piscé trail, including snowshoes, poles, and crampons if deemed necessary.
